Free online blogger (beta service) template generator

This web based template generation service is looking quite sleek and professional. Emphasis is on visual tools and ease of use. It is maybe not for the absolute beginner, but certainly quite intuitive.
And of course I only mention it because they claim to be able to generate blogger templates as an option. Beta at this stage, but certainly worth a trial :-)

DoTemplate generator now for Blogger.com

This web based template generation service is looking quite sleek and professional. Emphasis is on visual tools and ease of use. It is maybe not for the absolute beginner, but certainly quite intuitive.

And of course I only mention it because they claim to be able to generate blogger templates as an option. Beta at this stage, but certainly worth a trial :-)

Trix Template Generator for Blogger

Another template Generator, this time maybe one for the more initiated. Whats interesting is that it provides a preview of the blogger look in the background.

Trix is basically allowing to configure all CSS Blogger elements including padding, margins etc . Trix then generates the html/css XML code. All you need then is to upload or paste the code into your blogger website.

Advantage is that you really can finetune your design to the last pixel. You also can of course reload your previous trix generated templates. As a registered user you can even store your designs on trix, currently limited to 6.

Less sleek and chic than dotemplate, but ultimately more configurable.

great stuff :-)

bloggerticker - the blogger.com exploration log

We are using this ticker to minute our exploration in the depth of the blogger.com service by Google. So far we have several blogs which we use,

  • qompute is a general blog exploring and describing internet related technologies
  • bloggerCMS is a website which describes blogger.com as basis for content management not just for blogs, but for classic websites.
  • beeCMS is the template project which spun off bloggerCMS
  • creativecombinations described some trials combining mailing lists and blogs (blogger and google groups)
  • creativeposting was a trial site to combine posting to blogger via posterous...
  • phototicker.posterous.com is a picture logger of public / creative commons licensed photos which we can use for our tickerTXT project

bloggerticker will serve as the journal of all our blogger discoveries and solutions. A bit like a newsticker and public bookmark archive.
